To implement the initiative for a decent life, to improve the cultural dimension in Egypt’s villages, and to support talents of all ages, the Minister of Culture stated that the ministry is working in accordance with an integrated vision of cultural development in order to achieve its goal in full cooperation and coordination between the sectors and bodies of the ministry.

Nevin Al-Kilani stated that 600 cultural activities had been carried out in the four governorates. Distributed among them, in collaboration with various ministries and relevant authorities, Giza governorate received 233 cultural activities from July 24 to August 4 that benefited more than 10,000 people, and Qalyubia governorate implemented 225 activities from July 13 to August 2 that benefited more than 15,000 people.

In addition to 67 cultural activities in the Sharkia governorate, which benefited more over 10,000 inhabitants from August 17 to August 22, the Assiut governorate saw the implementation of 75 cultural activities between September 11 and September 13, benefiting about 12,000 citizens.

According to the Minister of Culture, additional cultural events that benefited about 7,000 people during the month of September included the implementation of five night shows in the governorates of Sharkia and Luxor through the Theater of Confrontation and Roaming of the Artistic House of Theater and the “You Are Life” initiative.

In the same context, Al-Kilani emphasised that the ministry’s initiatives and events within the framework of the president’s “A Dignified Life” initiative were keen to target all age and social groups; These events included artistic, literary and intellectual workshops, book exhibitions, in addition to musical performances for children, youth, and adults, and theatre performances that address social issues.

Additionally, they featured things like talent-finding exercises, heritage- and handicrafts-related workshops, meetings to raise awareness of women’s issues, activities to fight addiction and its treatment, and more. of things. .
