Germany.. Inflation continues to rise and reaches a new record

Germany’s inflation rate surged in September, rising from its previous level of 7 to 10% on an annual basis, according to early estimates. 9% were reported the month prior.
The Federal Statistical Office of Germany has released a statement claiming that the index has reached the highest levels ever seen before (Destatis).
The DailyFX portal surveyed analysts, and they predicted that the index will only increase to 9. 4%.

The Statistics Office announced that consumer prices increased by 1. The increase in the cost of energy remains the primary driver of inflation. 9%, versus a prediction of just 1. 3%.
