Six Russian diplomats have been deemed persona non grata by the Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to Russia Today.
Furthermore, the press office posted the following on Twitter: “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has classified six diplomats from the Russian Federation Embassy accredited in Montenegro as persona non grata due to actions that contradict the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and Respectful Relations between the two countries.
”
In response, the Russian Foreign Ministry declared that Moscow would respond to the Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ expulsion of six diplomats from the Russian embassy in a proper manner.
The ministry stated that “Moscow will deliver the right response at the proper moment.”
