The Danish player Christian Eriksen, who joined the squad during the most recent summer moves, was recognised on Thursday by the English club Manchester United as the team’s September Player of the Month.
Eriksen earned the prize, joining his Argentine colleague Lisandro Martinez, who won it last month, according to the fans’ vote in the final list of nominees, the English club’s official website reported on Thursday.
He continued by saying that the Danish international gave the squad a tremendous performance and was responsible for several significant wins, including the 3-1 Premier League victory over Arsenal and the 2-0 European League success away from home over Sheriff Tiraspol of Moldova.
In comments to his club’s official website, Eriksen stated: “I think September was amazing. Things were good compared to August, which was difficult and produced results that were not good for us. However, I personally think that the team performed and got good results in the month of September.” Fifth-placed Manchester United. with 12 points in the standings of the English Premier League.
Eriksen is Manchester United’s player of the month for September.
