Shark kills woman after dragging her underwater in South Africa

In a tragic occurrence, a woman was killed when a great white shark attacked her when she was swimming early one morning while on holiday in South Africa. The 39-year-old victim did not leave the shallow water when the predator surged toward her. According to the Daily Record, she was brutally attacked by the assailant from the depths while still nearby her fellow swimmers.

When the shark bit the woman while she was near to the shore and vanished once more, the woman screamed. On Saturday, September 24, just before 8 a.m., the National Marine Rescue Institute was summoned to Plettenberg Bay’s Central Beach where panicked surfers and swimmers had emerged from the water.
In a last-ditch effort to save the woman, a lifeboat was deployed; however, the rescuer arrived too late and discovered the woman’s bloodied body 50 feet from the shore.

The woman is the third victim of a vicious white attack in the last 11 years, and a witness informed rescuers that the weather was partly cloudy but sunny, and that many people were diving early because it was so warm.
I thought it was a shark attack but I was too far away when I heard a lot of screaming and saw people coming out of the water. Then the lifeboat arrived.

When a woman was attacked while swimming in very shallow water, it was reported that nothing could be done to save her.
