PUBG mobile announces new anti-cheat system

With the exception of select areas, such as India, PUBG Smartphone is a free mobile game that can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The game has now made its new anti-cheat technology accessible to all players.
An anti-cheat tool called Fog of War prevents hackers from exploiting wall hacks in the game’s mobile version.

During the testing phase of this new anti-cheat technology, which was first made available to specific groups on specific maps, the programme was able to cut down on cheating by 50%. The developers added that throughout the launch, they managed to reduce cheaters by 62% in some areas.
The official Fog of War YouTube account has also posted a video explaining the anti-cheat mechanism, which demonstrates how it prevents cheaters from seeing walls and other objects.

In the game, some gadgets are also inoperable.
What it does
In a statement to EuroGamer, Crafton explained how Fog of War functions. According to the game publisher, the “advanced anti-cheat system” restricts the amount of in-game information a player can access, which makes it harder for them to locate enemies “outside their field of view or through walls and objects.

The Fog of War system first scans all the structures and terrain present on the PUBG Mobile maps, and then it decides what the player should see using internal accounts. This enables them to send the chosen information from the server to the player. As a result, this system restricts all unseen information, putting a stop to “cheaters in x-ray vision.”

New anti-cheat technology is announced for PUBG mobile.
