According to Xinhua, China successfully launched two new satellites into orbit that will be used for Earth remote sensing and scientific research, as reported by RT.
According to a report from the agency, China successfully launched a Kuaizhou-1A rocket from the Taiyuan space base in the north of the country on September 25. The rocket was propelled into Earth orbit at precisely 06:55 local time (01:55 Moscow time).
The Shiyan-5 spacecraft and the Shiyan-14 test satellite will be used for research, mapping, planning cities, and preventing natural disasters.
The organisation added that the aforementioned launch was China’s 18th attempt to place a satellite or other spacecraft into an orbit around the Earth using Kuaizhou-1A missiles.
It should be mentioned that China conducted multiple space launches this month, including the launch of the Zhongxing-1E satellite, which is intended for radio and television broadcasting services, as well as the launch of a communications and Internet satellite.
