The Biden administration adopts a strategy to end hunger among Americans by 2030

According to a report from the Associated Press today, the administration of US President Joe Biden has set itself the strategic goal of eradicating hunger among Americans by 2030 through a public-private partnership that will help at least 300 million people.

According to the agency’s sources in the White House, Biden will hold a conference on hunger, nutrition, and health on next Wednesday as a result of this. This will be the first conference of its kind to be held by an American president since 1969, when former Republican President Richard Nixon did so to announce a plan for American food security.

It was then that the so-called “food stamp” programme, whose funds are used to provide wholesome food and nutrition to women, kids, and even newborn infants in the United States, was introduced. At the time, about half of those who benefited from this programme did so, especially those who do not receive breast milk.

But according to the US agency, the situation is different than it was during the Nixon administration, when the world was experiencing a severe food crisis as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian War and the disruption of supply and distribution networks. Biden, a Democrat, will hold a conference on Wednesday to end American hunger.

And according to the American Democratic Party’s policy, the agency anticipated that Democrats led by Biden would concentrate on providing the best care and nutritious food for American groups suffering from chronic illnesses, chronic stress-related diseases, obesity, diabetes, and other conditions linked to an ideal diet.

Additionally, according to reports from Washington, the Biden administration has mobilised no less than $8 billion in funding from American private sector companies this week in advance of the Zero Hunger Conference’s start on Wednesday. Additionally, American mall chains have promised to offer discounts for the categories that will be the focus of the Biden programme to end hunger, with those discounts reaching 10% of the invoice value of their food purchases.

By 2030, the Biden administration plans to eradicate hunger in America.
