Garcia continues to advance at the US Open

French By overcoming previous Canadian champion Bianca Andreescu 6-3 6-3 and moving on to the fourth round (round of 16) of the final Grand Slam of the current season at Flushing Meadows hard courts in New York, Caroline Garcia secured the continuance of the US Open women’s singles events.
Garcia, 28, has never advanced past the round of 16 at the US Open. To do so, he outplayed the Canadian player who won the competition in 2019 by a considerable margin.

Garza qualified for the Grand Slam after being the first woman to win the 1,000-point Cincinnati Masters championship in advance of the US Open, and she hasn’t dropped a set at Flushing Meadows.

Garcia keeps making progress at the US Open.
