Ali Khamenei admits: We succeeded in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon

Iranian guide Ali Khamenei said on Saturday that his country’s policies in three countries are Iraq, Syria and Lebanon, have succeeded in defeating the United States of America.
In a separate context, Khamenei stated that the Basij forces sacrificed their lives in the “riots” that erupted after the death of the Iranian young woman, Muhsa Amini, while the police were detained in September, according to Reuters.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces were at the forefront of a campaign carried out by the state targeting the protests that spread throughout the country.
“They sacrificed their lives to protect the people from rioters,” Khamenei said in a speech broadcast on television.
Official Iranian media reported, on Friday, that the Revolutionary Guards strengthened its presence in turbulent Kurdish areas as part of a campaign aimed at containing the protests.

Soon the protests, which were ignited by Amini’s death across the country, were more severe in the areas inhabited by ethnic minorities, most of which are Sunnis, according to Reuters.
The turmoil was one of the biggest challenges that the Shiite rulers faced in Iran since they came to power after their revolution in 1979.

The authorities accuse Iran’s enemies abroad and their agents of planning the turmoil that erupted after the death of Amini on September 16 after the ethics police were detained for not wearing decent clothes according to the strict rules applied in the country.
Human Rights Activists (Hranna) reported that until Friday, 448 protesters were killed, of whom 63 were killed.
She added that 57 security forces were also killed, as well as the arrest of about 18,170 people.

In conjunction with the widening of the protests, the Iranian authorities recently worked to highlight attacks that ISIS was behind the attack on a shrine in Shiraz to operations in A and Asfahhan.
Arms on motorcycles, in southern Iran, were killed nine people, including a woman and two children, in two separate attacks, according to the official media.

The attack is the second in Isfahan, who also held the Iranian authorities to “terrorists”, and President Ibrahim, the head of the authorities, ordered the “immediate movement to determine the identity of the perpetrators of the attack and hand them over to the judicial system to be punished. ”
On October 26, it targeted a religious shrine in the city of Shiraz, killing 13 people and adopted by the Islamic State.

These terrorist operations coincide with the issuance of death sentences against the demonstrators suppressing the Iranian authorities. This opens the door for discussion about the Iranian authorities benefiting from terrorist acts to curb popular moves..
