Media: Hundreds of Irish protest against the accommodation of refugees from Ukraine

The Irish newspaper “Airech Mirror” reported that hundreds of residents of the Irish capital Dublin demonstrated to protest several hundreds of Ukrainian refugees, according to “Russia Today”.
The protests were launched in the middle of the eastern wall, and hundreds of people joined the locals in expressing their opposition to government work.

According to the newspaper, it is planned to accommodate 380 people in an old building specially equipped in this area, but “the local population is not satisfied with the concentration of this number of refugees” in this place.
According to the city’s integration administration, a hundred Ukrainian people are currently living in the building, all of whom are “unmarried men”, and it is assumed that the rest will come with their families.

To solve the conflict, Irish Minister of Irish Integration, Roderick Augurman and the city’s official Pascal Donuhu, met with the residents of the eastern wall, who told the demonstrators that the situation of refugees in their area represented a “crisis” response to an “international emergency”.
It has already reached more than 62,000 Ukrainians in Ireland, and according to the local authorities, this number may reach 72,000 by the end of December..
