The Iraqi Prime Minister confirms his country’s keenness to strengthen relations with Russia

Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shi’a Al -Sudani affirmed to Russian President Vladimir Putin, today, Thursday, that Iraq is keen to strengthen and sustain relations with Russia in various fields.
This came in a telephone conversation received by the Sudanese from the President of the Federal Republic of Russia, Vladimir Putin, according to a statement of the media office of the Iraqi Prime Minister, reported by the Iraqi News Agency (conscious) today.

The statement added that during the call, bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed, and ways to enhance them, as well as a number of regional and international files were discussed in common concern.

And the Iraqi Prime Minister, according to the statement, expressed the government’s keenness to sustain the relationship with Russia in various fields, stressing that the Iraqi government pursues in its external relations the policy of openness and cooperation with the regional and international environment of Iraq.
