Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed today, Wednesday, that the efforts of the Collective Security Treaty Organization to settle the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan are clear.
Peskov pointed out – in a media statement on the sidelines of the Group Security Treaty Organization in Yerevan – to the statements of Armenian Prime Minister Nicole Pashinian, in which he described the efforts of the Collective Security Treaty Organization to settle the crisis between Baku and Yerrevan as a “complete failure” . . . according to what was reported by the News Agency Russian “Tass”.
“This is the view of the Armenian side, and the Armenian side has the right to evaluate the situation in this way. On the other hand, the importance of the role played by the Collective Security Treaty in this regard appears clear,” he said.
It is noteworthy that the Collective Security Treaty Organization includes Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Armenia will preside over the organization this year, and the presidency will be transferred to Belarus next year..
