Russian Foreign Minister: We hope that there will be no nuclear disaster at the Zaporozhye plant

Sergei Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia, expressed his nation’s desire for an objective International Atomic Energy Agency mission to visit the Zaporozhye nuclear plant, as well as his hope that operations at the facility would continue in a safe manner without experiencing any nuclear catastrophe.
The Russian Foreign Minister claimed during a press conference that unnamed parties were attempting to obstruct the IAEA’s visit to the Zaporozhye nuclear complex.

In response to the limitations placed on Russian citizens’ ability to obtain Schengen visas by the European Union, Lavrov stated that Russia does not need to collectively punish EU citizens. He also noted that 80% of nations did not heed Western sanctions placed on Russia despite pressure and blackmail.

We hope there won’t be a nuclear disaster at the Zaporozhye facility, said the foreign minister of Russia.
