UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan exchanged with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdy Mohamedov views on a number of regional and international issues and files of concern to the two countries.
The Emirates News Agency (WAM) stated today that this came during the meeting of the two presidents, as they discussed the close friendship between the two countries, and the various paths of bilateral cooperation, especially economic, development and investment, to serve their mutual interests.
The Emirati President said, “The cooperation relations between the two countries are entrenched, and we seek during the coming period to strengthen and develop them in various sectors.
” While the President of Turkmenistan expressed his wishes for bilateral relations with more development and advancement to broader horizons of constructive cooperation that enhances their mutual interests.
During the meeting, a number of memoranda of understanding and agreements were announced between the two countries in the fields of agriculture, food security, cybersecurity, education and the exchange of information on combating crimes of terrorist financing and joint development, with the aim of building a solid base of partnerships in various vital fields that constitute basic pillars to advance sustainable development and progress ..
