United Nations: 16 thousand and 784 civilian victims due to the military operation in Ukraine so far

The United Nations Office for Human Rights stated that the number of victims of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, from its inception on February 24 until Sunday, reached 16,784 civilian victims.
The UN office added- in a statement, today, that the number of dead in the Logansk and Donitsk area has so far reached 3 thousand and 939 dead, while the number of wounded reached 5 thousand and 338 wounded.

He pointed out that the death toll in the areas controlled by the Ukrainian government reached 3 thousand and 490 dead, and 3 thousand and 815 wounded, while in the lands controlled by the Russian forces and the allied groups, the death toll reached 449 people in addition to 1523 wounded, while the death toll reached in Other areas were under the control of the government when the victims occurred (including Kyiv, Cherkasi, Cherina, Karkiv, Khirison, etc. )..
