Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Boujdanov said in a comment on the Turkish air operation in northern Syria and Iraq that Moscow has always been standing with “negotiating solutions. ”
“It is necessary to analyze [the situation], because we have always preferred negotiating solutions, and there have always been contacts with all the participating countries [in settlement efforts],” Bogdanov said in statements to the Russian TASS.
In response to a question about whether Ankara had informed Moscow about its operation, Boujdanov indicated that Turkey “has been planning it for a long time and talking about it. ”
He continued, “It is necessary to find a political solution, and speak on an acceptable basis for all, taking into account that the most important is the mutual recognition of regional sovereignty and safety between Syria and Turkey.
Turkey is carrying out a new operation, called Klao Surd, in Syria and Iraq, and artillery units, more than 50 warplanes and 20 drones participated. And raids were carried out on the locations of the PKK spread and the popular protection units.
