The Supreme Council of Culture is organizing the Literary, Linguistic and Critical Studies Committee for a symposium entitled “Celebrating the Dean of Arabic Literature Taha Hussein” on the occasion of his memory, on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at six o’clock in the evening
The symposium comes under the patronage of Dr. Nevin Al -Kilani, Minister of Culture; And Dr. Hisham Azmi- Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Culture; And Dr.

Abdul Rahim Al-Kurdi- decision of the Committee for Literary, Linguistic and Critical Studies in the Council.
The symposium is run: critic Dr. Ahmed Darwish, professor of literary criticism, comparative literature and rhetoric – Cairo University
And participates in it: Dr. Amani Fouad – Professor of Modern Literary Criticism – Academy of Arts, Dr.

Sharif Al -Gayyar, Professor of Literary Criticism – College of Arts – Beni Suef University, Shaaban Youssef Al -Katib and the poet, and Abdul Rahim Al -Kurd Literary criticism, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Suez Canal University.
It is worth noting that the Central Administration of the People and Cultural Committees of the Supreme Council of Culture, headed by the writer Mohamed Nassef, issued the book “The Climate and its Impact on Agriculture in Egypt” written by Dr.

Abla Abdel Rahman Al -Sheikh.

The book deals with the subject of the climate of Egypt and its impact on agriculture in Egypt, where the climate contributes to a major and effective role in the productivity of crops, especially in light of the climate fluctuations and the current challenges, so the climatic and environmental conditions must be taken into account; Hence, it affects the productivity of crops in quantity and quality, especially the cotton crop; Where the cultivation of Egyptian cotton is important at a place at the local and global levels; But in the recent period, he witnessed a decrease to its lowest levels – whether it is in terms of vastness of acre, kidney production or Egyptian exports – and as a result of the loss of Egyptian cotton because of its strategic importance, hence it was necessary to go to increase productivity, taking into account the preservation of the environment, rates and international specifications For export; By following the policy of adapting to the climate volatility of the advancement of productivity, especially with the limited individual capabilities and the lack of material support from policies.
