Today, Saturday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the welcome of the State of Kuwait to renew the work of the safe shipping agreement for grains and foodstuffs from the Ukrainian ports for an additional four months.
In a statement, the Ministry noted the importance of this agreement in facilitating the transfer of grains in a way that contributes to alleviating food shortages around the world.
Ukraine and Federal Russia’s response to the calls of the international community valued the efforts made by the United Nations and Turkey in order to reach this extension.
The Ministry expressed hope that the atmosphere will be prepared to enter into direct negotiations, leading to a political solution that ends the conflict between the two countries and preserves the European continent and the world its security and stability..
