The Undersecretary of the US Department of Defense for Political Affairs, Colin Cal, met with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein, along with the coordinator of the US National Security Council for the Middle East Brett McGurk and the assistance of the US Secretary of State for Near East Barbara Lev, today, Saturday, in the Bahraini capital, Manama, on the sidelines of the Manama Dialogue Conference Annual.
A Pentagon spokesman, David Herndon, said in a statement that the German News Agency (DPA) received a copy of it, that the American delegation confirmed the United States ‘commitment to strategic partnership with Iraq and also reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to preserving the American forces in the country to support the security forces Iraqi in its continuous fighting to defeat ISIS.
