Yemen’s foreign ministers and Finland are discussing developments in the political situation in the country

The Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, discussed today, Saturday, with his Finnish counterpart, Becca Haveisto, the developments of the political situation in the country, on the sidelines of the 18th session of the Regional Security Conference (Manama Dialogue).

The two sides reviewed – according to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) – the continued targeting of the Houthi terrorist militias the economic structure of the state through Iranian drones, causing the deepening of the humanitarian catastrophe in Yemen and endangering the security of international navigation corridors to danger.

Bin Mubarak pointed out that the Houthi militias continue to put additional obstacles to the endeavors that are being made in achieving peace by circulating the so -called job behavior code to state employees in their areas of control, noting the importance of the Houthi classification as a terrorist organization and support the measures that the government will take in implementation of that decision.

For his part, the Foreign Minister of Finland affirmed his country’s fixed position towards the Presidential Command Council and the unity and security of Yemen, and his support for the efforts of the UN envoy that is being made to bring peace and stability in Yemen..
