Patrice Motibi, President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), decided to visit the five African teams participating in the 2022 World Cup.
The World Cup will start tomorrow evening, Sunday, in Qatar, with the participation of 32 teams and will continue until December 18.
The CAF issued an official statement stating, “The President of the Confederation of African Football, Dr. Patrice Motsby, will visit the African countries participating in the World Cup Qatar 2022.


The statement added that Motsby is scheduled to start his visit to the African teams in the World Cup 2022, today, Saturday, by visiting the African champions Senegal at 13:00 at the team’s hotel.
The 2022 World Cup is witnessing 5 teams from the continent, namely: “Tunisia, Morocco, Senegal, Ghana, and Cameroon.


The opening match will be held in the World Cup in its 22nd edition, between Qatar and Ecuador at Al -Bayt Stadium at six in the evening Cairo time, and seven in the evening Mecca time and Qatar, and eight in the UAE time.

32 teams compete in the upcoming version of the tournament that will be held on Qatari lands, before increasing the number of teams participating in the World Cup to 48 starting from the next version that will be held in 3 countries for the first time in the history of the tournament; It is Canada, Mexico and the United States of America..
