Tunisian Minister of Health Ali Al -Murabit revealed that heart disease represents the first cause of death in his country, stressing the extreme importance that the ministry attaches to the programs to prevent such diseases.
This came in a speech to the minister during the opening of the works of the forty -second National Congress of the Tunisian Society for Cardiology and Cardiovision in the presence of the President of the Association, Lilia Zakhama, the former dean of the College of Medicine in Tunisia, Rashid Mishmash, the President of the French Society of Cardiology Christophe Licerk, and the President of the African Society of Heart Medical Medicine, Joli, and many Of experts and specialists in heart disease in Tunisia and several African and foreign countries.
The Minister expressed his appreciation for the association’s efforts in training, treatment and prevention of heart disease, congratulating the association for the fifty years of its establishment.
The three -day conference will participate in the conference, more than 1,000 doctors from the Arab, African, European countries, America and Australia, to present the most prominent scientific developments and treatment methods in the fields of cardiology and cardiac surgery..
