Washington: We will take all necessary measures to ensure the security of Seoul and Tokyo

The White House announced on Friday that Washington will take all necessary measures to ensure the security of Korea and Japan.
The South Korean army announced that North Korea launched “what is suspected to be an intercontinental ballistic missile”, on Friday, which was commented on by South Korean President Yun Suk Yol by saying: “We coordinate with the international community to curb Pyongyang and stop its ballistic missiles.

A defensive official said that the General Staff of South Korea “believes that North Korea launched an intercontinental ballistic missile”, without taking more details.
In a reaction, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said that the North Korean missile launch operation was “absolutely unacceptable”, explaining that the missile “landed in the sea.

“The ballistic missile launched by North Korea seems to have fallen in our pure economic zone, west of Hokkaido,” Kishida said, noting that there were no damage to any ships or aircraft..
