During the year 2004, the beautiful art bus project, affiliated with the General Authority of Culture Palaces, was launched aimed at spreading arts among children. The project targeted school children who express their feelings and talent through drawing.
The bus goes from village schools to Cairo through the program of visiting some museums and the Al -Ahram area and making an artistic and cultural workshop.
This bus presented nearly 500 or 600 trips starting from all governorates until it reached Halayeb and Shalateen.
During the year 2021, the beautiful art bus in the child’s culture carried out a field visit to the students of the New Dawn Experimental School to visit the Coptic Museum at the Religions Complex to learn about the history of the museum, which takes its external gate with engineering models of the Qamar Mosque, while the middle of its entrance is decorated with two Islamic models.
Inside the corridors of the museum, which contains about 16 thousand artifacts, the children saw Coptic icons, costumes of the Coptic fabric, and paintings that represent stories of Copts and monks.
After inspecting the museum’s corridors, the artist Ghada Abdel Nabi in the museum garden ran out of a plastic arts workshop inspired by the Coptic art that the students saw in the paintings that decorate the walls of the museum using the colors of the filter on the paper so that the students implement artistic paintings on the history of the Babylon Fort, while another draws on the museum’s models that collects Between several architectural models, while others were influenced by the park of the external museum, trees and flowers, the children’s drawings come to reflect the extent of children affected by the visit and the technical workshop that documented this educational visit.
The beautiful art bus did not stop on field visits to museums, associations, institutions and drawing only, but he also presented a competition for children announced during the year 2022, he opened the door for participation in the child’s cultural competition for the child under the title “Story and Drawing” in its sixth session of 2022/2023 AD, and it is Qum.
Financial prizes as follows: the first 1000 pounds, the second 900 pounds, the third 800 pounds, the fourth 700 pounds, and the fifth 600 pounds, and from the sixth until the tenth of the value of one prize 500 pounds and certificates of appreciation..
