Moscow announces its readiness to sponsor the negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan

The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that Moscow is willing to continue financing discussions between Azerbaijan and Armenia on the delineation of the two countries’ borders, in accordance with the Moscow settlement agreement in Nagorno-Karabakh.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian delegation expressed its willingness to continue providing advisory and technical assistance in negotiations between the delegations of Azerbaijan and Armenia on the demarcation of the two countries’ state borders, as well as to increase the level of stability and security in the border region.
She further stated that the new meeting date will be determined through diplomatic procedures.

The bilateral commission on the delineation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian boundary, as well as its following demarcation, met in Moscow on Tuesday, with Russia providing advising support.

Moscow declares its willingness to facilitate talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
