Bayern Munich club announced today, Thursday, that its Senegalese star Sadio underwent successful surgery, at a fragment level, which he recently suffered with his team in one of the German league matches.
“Sadio Mane was on Thursday evening in Innsbruck by Professor Christian Fink and Dr. Andy Williams from London, a successful surgery, so he was no longer available to the Senegalese team in the World Cup,” Bayern Munich statement said.
The doctors of the Senegalese national team confirmed in a press conference today, Thursday, the exclusion of Sadio Mane’s participation from the World Cup in Qatar 2022 because of the lack of recovery from the injury.
The Senegalese star suffered a muscle injury during the confrontation of his team, Bayern Munich, with Werder Bremen, in the German league competitions.
The absence of Sadio Mane from running the 2022 World Cup competitions is a painful blow to technical manager Alyo Cisse, who will try to compensate for his absence in the list of black Ti -Tiraga before the start of the tournament.
