The Tunisian Ministry of Finance announced today, Thursday, the decline in the state budget deficit until the end of August 2022 to 3. 023 billion dinars, compared to 3. 387 billion dinars during the same period last year.
The Ministry stated in the results document to implement the state budget, that the state budget income increased by 22. 1%, to reach 25. 011 billion dinars, including 22. 8 billion dinars of tax income, while the state expenditures increased to 27.
098 billion dinars, recording 14% from last year.
The Ministry indicated that the state expenditures on the interest of the external internal debt reached nearly 3. 044 billion dinars, including 1. 8 billion dinars for the internal debt, 1. 2 billion dinars for the external debt and 2. 2 billion dinars in the form of investment expenses, while Tunisia borrowed during the same period about 11. 2 billion dinars, including 5 billion internal loans and 6. 1 billion dinars from abroad..
