The Egyptian Dabaa reactor is built similar to the most powerful Russian reactors

Russia in the city of St. Petersburg is preparing many Egyptian engineers and producing the Egyptian nuclear reactors in Dabaa, similar to the famous “Leningrad” reactor.
Russia is working to create a nuclear reactor for Egypt from the third generation, which is comparable to the Lingerrad reactor, as Egypt will be the only country in the region that has third -generation reactors + reliable and safe.

Egypt will have the nuclear reactor of the third generation, which means building a modern nuclear project in record time, that is, it is based on reducing the time and the cost of construction, as the reactor from this generation contains a simple and reliable design, and resisting the error of the “human factor”.

These reactors guarantee radiological leakage through multiple barriers, as there are negative and positive safety systems, possessing a simple and easy structure for management and removing employee errors, increasing fuel efficiency and taking out the lowest amount of waste, as these reactors also contain the modern automatic control system.

Russia built the “Leningrad” reactor in 2008, and the first reactor ended in 2015 and was operated in 2018, as it started in the second reactor in 2010 and ended it by 2017 and was operated 2020.
This reactor is considered similar to the nuclear reactor that Russia will build in Egypt, in the Dabaa area near the Mediterranean.
The Russian “Leningrad” reactor consists of 4 units, a single unit capacity of 1170 megawatts, while the unit’s capacity for the Egyptian reactor is 1200 megawatts.

The total capacity of the Russian reactor is 4680, while the Egyptian reactor is 4,800 and they belong to the quality of the reactors “VVR 1200”.
