The activities of the 15th session of the Luxor International Photography Forum, which is organized by the Fund sector in cooperation with Luxor Governorate, will start from 7 to 22 December.
The conditions for participation include that the applicant is involved in the plastic movement, and that he should not have participated in any of the previous forum courses, as it is preferable that the applicant had held a special exhibition.
The course includes one of the senior plastic artists, and the membership of Asma Al -Nawawi, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Design and Arts and the British University (Genissier Al -Multaqa), and Fatima Abdul Rahman, Undersecretary of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Helwan University, Imad Abu Zaid, Professor at the Faculty of Art Education at Helwan University, Adel Tharwat, Professor at the Faculty of Art Education at Helwan University, Walid Qanoush, a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Alexandria University, Saleh Abdel -Moaty, Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Luxor University, Safia Al -Qabbani, Captain of Fine Artists, Khaled Sorour, Head of the Fine Arts Sector, Counselor Ahmed Barakat.
The Cultural Development Fund has been able for 25 years since its establishment in 1989 to play an effective and influential role in supporting and developing cultural life in Egypt, and providing bridges of creative dialogue between intellectuals and artists each other and between them and between the wide audience, and also worked to reveal young talents in various governorates, support and set them On the path of excellence and creativity.
Also, the philosophy of converting archaeological sites – after its restoration – into artistic creativity centers that had a great impact in developing the cultural level of the population around these centers, especially since these sites were supplied with all the requirements that guarantee them to perform their cultural and artistic role.
The experiment began in 1996 in the House of Al -Hrawi and extended until the number of archaeological sites that were converted into artistic creativity centers of the fund reached (17) centers..
