South Korean Navy participates in US-led naval exercises off Guam

According to the armed forces, the Pacific Vanguard exercises will begin on August 21. The warships of South Korea, the United States, Australia, Canada, and Japan will also be participating, and the Korean Navy has dispatched the destroyer Monmu. Both the 7,600-ton Sejong Destroyer and the 4,400-ton Great Destroyer take part.

According to the US Indo-Pacific Command, the five countries’ fleets engaged in a variety of naval activities during the exercises, including anti-submarine warfare operations, air warfare operations, live-fire missile drills, and re-mobilization at sea.

Participating in US-led naval exercises off Guam is the South Korean Navy.
