Poland cuts suspicion of certainty: Ukraine is the source of the missile

Al-Madinah News:- With the initial indicators of the source of the missile that fell yesterday on one of the Polish border towns, Poland recently cut suspicion of certainty.
Polish President André Doda announced that it is “very likely” that the Ukrainian defenses were the source of the missile that fell in the town of Bishivodov on the border with Ukraine and killed two.

He also added: “The information that we and our allies about the missile have explained that it was the Soviet S-300, which is an old missile and there is no evidence of its launch from the Russian side. ”
In addition, he stressed in a press conference today, Wednesday, that “nothing indicates that it was a deliberate attack on our country. ”
He added, “It was very likely that it was a missile used in the Ukrainian missile defense,” describing the incident unfortunate.

This explained that his country did not request the activation of Article 4 or Fifth of the NATO Charter, which provides for the invitation of the alliance members to discuss any attack, and the defense and the protection of any member of the alliance being attacked.
Simultaneously, NATO Secretary -General, Yans Stoltenberg, said during a press conference today that preliminary analyzes indicate that the attack was carried out with Ukrainian defensive missiles.

He also added that there were no evidence that he was deliberate.
The US President, Joe Biden, had informed NATO and partners in the Group of Seven (G7), earlier yesterday that the missile was fired by Ukrainian air defenses.

It is noteworthy that if Russia’s responsibility for this bombing is proven, it can lead to the activation of the principle of the collective defense of the NATO known as Article 5, according to which an attack on a member of the coalition is considered an attack on everyone, and thus may unleash the start of consultations about a possible military response.
