On Wednesday, Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shi’a discussed in a telephone conversation with British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly efforts to combat terrorism and consolidate bilateral relations between the two countries.

Al -Sudani affirmed – during the communication – the entrepreneurial role of Iraq in the region, and its efforts in combating terrorism.
For his part, the British Foreign Minister stressed his government’s commitment to continuing support for the Iraqi government in the economic and security fields and combating terrorism, and in the fields of renewable energy, investment and combating the effects of climate change..
