Qatar World Cup organizers apologize to Danish TV crew

The World Cup organizers in Qatar have apologized to the crew of a Danish TV channel that has seized Qatari officials, its live broadcast from Doha, threatening to destroy their equipment.
The Supreme Committee for Projects and Legacy admitted in a statement that the Candles of the Danish channel “TV 2”: “They were suspended by a boycott” late on Tuesday evening.

“You called the whole world to come here, so why can’t we photograph? It is a public place. You can destroy the camera, you want to break it? You threaten us to destroy the camera?”
The Qatari organizers said that they later contacted Tantholt and “also issued directives to all institutions to respect the filming permits that are valid for the tournament. ”
