Germany suspends visa facilitation agreement with Russia

According to the Russian TASS news agency, German Foreign Minister Annalina Birbock said today, Tuesday, that her nation had stopped the visa facilitation deal with Russia.
Previously, Germany and France rejected the European Union’s imposition of a blanket ban on the issuing of Schengen visas to Russian residents, but Germany decided today at a conference of foreign ministers in Prague to abandon the streamlined visa system for Russian people.

However, a source from one of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries’ delegations informed (TASS) that (OPEC +) is not presently considering the prospect of cutting oil output.
The next OPEC+ meeting is set for September 5.
Separately, Alexander Dyukov, CEO of (Gazprom), stated that the business believes it is reasonable to prolong the (OPEC +) deal when it expires in 2022.

He went on to say, “I don’t know what decision will be made at the (OPEC +) meeting, but it appears to me that it would be appropriate for this mechanism to continue its function, as we observe its good influence on the market situation.” He thought that the (OPEC +) agreement allowed him to keep his job. The price of oil has reached a point where firms may invest in oil production.

Germany has suspended its visa-easing arrangement with Russia.
