Al-Madinah News:-Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that his country is seeking to extend the transmission agreement across the Black Sea one year, indicating that the talks on the grain corridor are continuing.

Erdogan told a press conference on the sidelines of his participation in the G20 summit on the Indonesian island of Bali, that he will discuss with Russian President Vladimir Putin the shipments of fertilizers and ammonia through the grain corridor, and will seek to extend the agreement one year.
He added: “I think the agreement will continue now and there are no problems.


Erdogan pointed out that Turkey has succeeded in collecting the two sides of the war, Russia and Ukraine, to one table in order to negotiate several times, explaining that the creation of the grain corridor in the Black Sea made a major contribution to solving the food crisis.

He pointed out that Ankara has contributed to the introduction of about 11 million tons of grains to the global market, since the signing of the Istanbul Agreement on July 22, stressing that Turkish efforts will continue to ensure the work of the agreement without interruption and transfer of grains to the countries that are in need of it , Especially Africa.

Earlier, the Turkish president expressed his hope to establish a peace road similar to the grain corridor regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war.
