The Emirates Space Agency launched – on the sidelines of its participation with the state mission at the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change «COP 27» – “Satellite Data Complex”, as a digital platform for collecting and providing space data for scientists, researchers, governmental and private institutions, startups and community members with the aim of developing software and finding Solutions to face national and global challenges.

The satellite data complex falls within the series of transformational projects launched by the UAE government, to focus on creating an active and best economy in the world.

The initiatives of the space data complex project aim to provide an innovative system for space data and technologies to face global sustainability challenges, increase space dependence to face national challenges and search for solutions through space, in addition to increasing the number of space companies and patents, attracting the best innovators, and accelerating the development of space products And enhancing space contribution to solve national and global challenges, in addition to raising the percentage of scientific research production and improving the quality of life and benefiting from space to face national and global challenges, and support other sectors with space services and applications that contribute to supporting the process of growth, development and knowledge.
