Gas withdrawal from underground storage facilities in the European Union countries exceeded the quantities of blue fuel that pump into the facilities, and this comes for the first time since the last heating season.
This came, according to the data of the Association of Gas Infrastructure Workmanships in Europe, and exceeding the clouds of the quantities pumped, is an indication of the beginning of the new heating season in the European Union.
Prior to the start of the new heating season, Europe filled its gas storage facilities by 95. 61%, and yesterday morning Tuesday (15 November 2022) the occupancy rate decreased by 0. 01 points to 95. 60%, for the first time since April 2022, then the previous heating season in the European Union ended.
The European Union accumulated about 104 billion cubic meters of natural gas in its gas storage facilities, in preparation for the new winter, according to the initial data of the association.
