Biden: Poland’s explosion may not have been due to a Russian missile

US President Joe Biden said that the United States and its NATO allies were investigating the explosion that killed two people in Poland, but preliminary information indicates that it may not have been caused by a missile fired from Russia.
Biden spoke after world leaders, who were meeting to attend the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia, spoke an emergency meeting today, Wednesday, after fatal explosions in Poland, the Ukrainian and Polish authorities said that Russian missiles caused them.

In response to a question about the allegations of the bang’s association with Russia, Biden said, “There is initial information that opposes this. I do not want to say that until we are completely achieved, but it is unlikely that it was launched from Russia due to its path but we will see. ”
Biden said that the United States and NATO countries will be completely investigated before acting.

The White House said that Biden called for the meeting after two people were killed in an explosion in the village of Barsfodao in eastern Poland, near the Ukrainian border.
The leaders of the United States, Germany, Canada, the Netherlands, Japan, Spain, Italy, France and the United Kingdom participated in the meeting.
With the exception of Japan, all these countries are members of NATO, which also includes Poland.

The holding of Moscow may lead the explosion to activate the principle of the collective defense of the NATO known as Article 5, according to which an attack on a coalition member is considered an attack on everyone, which leads to the start of consultations on a possible military response.

Poland said it is verifying whether it needs to request consultations under Article 4, which allows NATO members to raise any disturbing case, especially with regard to security, to discuss the North Atlantic Council.
Poland summoned Russia’s ambassador to Warsaw for an explanation after Moscow denied its responsibility for the incident..
