Biden holds an emergency meeting with world leaders on Poland’s explosions

World leaders who were gathered to attend the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia, held an emergency meeting today, Wednesday, after two people in Poland were killed in explosions, the Ukrainian and Polish authorities said Russian missiles caused them.
The White House said that US President Joe Biden called for the meeting after two people were killed in an explosion in the village of Berchsfodao in eastern Poland near the Ukrainian border.

The leaders of the United States, Germany, Canada, the Netherlands, Japan, Spain, Italy, France and the United Kingdom participated in the meeting.
Poland summoned Russia’s ambassador to Warsaw for an explanation after Moscow denied its responsibility for the incident.
Polish Foreign Ministry spokesman Lukash Yashina announced that a Russian -made missile landed in Poland on Tuesday at 14,40 GMT and killed two in the village of Brevodov.

The spokesman said that “a Russian -made missile landed, and killed two citizens of the Republic of Poland,” noting that the Russian ambassador to Poland was summoned to obtain it “immediate detailed interpretations. ”
NATO Secretary -General intends to hold an emergency meeting on Wednesday for coalition countries delegates to discuss the incident, according to a spokeswoman on Tuesday.
