The latest European Statistical Office statistics (Eurostat) today showed that the employment rate and the total domestic product in the European Union increased during the third quarter.
The GDP increased by 0. 2% in the European Union, and the employment rate increased by 0. 2%. According to Eurostat.
The growth rate of the eurozone economy decreased by 0. 6 percentage points compared to 0. 8 during the second quarter.
Cyprus and Romania recorded the highest economic growth rate, which amounted to 1. 3%during the third quarter, followed by Sweden with 0. 7%, and then Germany with 0. 3%.
