Xi Jinping confirms the impossibility of Taiwan’s independence from China

Shi Jinping, the Chinese president, said during his meeting with US President Joe Biden that it is impossible to independence China from Taiwan, explaining to his American counterpart the size of relations between the two countries and how they can maintain the borders between them to prevent them from exceeding.

During their meeting today, on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Bali, the two presidents discussed bilateral relations and a number of international issues, including the Ukrainian crisis.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry said that Xi expressed in his meeting with Biden his concern about the crisis in Ukraine, and confirmed his intention to support peace negotiations.
In the same way, the White House stated in a press statement that “the two leaders exchanged views on regional and global issues,” including the Ukrainian crisis.

The statement added that the two presidents “asserted their agreement that it is never permissible to launch a nuclear war, and it could not be victorious, as they stressed their anti -nuclear weapons or threatening to use them in Ukraine.
