Saudi Aramco and Indonesian Pertamina are studying cooperation in hydrogen and ammonia

The Saudi Aramco Company announced today, Monday, that it had signed with the Oil, Natural Gas and Mining Company, BT Bartamina, Persero, the Indonesian, an agreement to understand cooperation through a chain of value of hydrogen and ammonia.

The Memorandum of Understanding includes a prior feasibility study aimed at assessing the possibility of cooperation in the development of the valuable ammonia and hydrogen chain, and this includes the possibility of carbon detention, use and storage in the existing facilities of the Bertamina Group and other agreed sites.
The company added that “the study will discuss the feasibility of investment and jointly evaluate marketing options, including, but not limited Study more broadly. ”.
