“Goodson is still a Russian despite the visit of Zelinski,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
He added: “We leave it without comment. You know that this region is part of the Russian Federation. ”
And the Russian forces withdrew from Jiusson a few days after eight months of control, leaving the road open to Ukrainian soldiers to enter the city on Friday.
Ukrainian accusations
Ukrainian President Foludmir Zellinski accused the Russian forces of war crimes and killing civilians in Jesson.
Zelinski’s comments in his comic night speech:
Local officials said, on Sunday, that the public utilities companies in Jiuson are working to restore the vital infrastructure that the Russian forces detonated, while electricity and water was cut off from most of the city’s homes in southern Ukraine.
The Ukrainian forces arrived in the center of Jiusson, on Friday, after Russia withdrew from the only regional capital that it had controlled since its military attack began last February.
This withdrawal was the third major decline in the war, and the first to witness a large city, with a major Ukrainian counter attack with which Kyiv regained parts of the east and south..
