The Turkish Football Federation announced the postponement of the Besiktas and Antalia Spor match, after the terrorist bombing that affected Istanbul on Sunday and claimed the lives of 6 people.
The Turkish Federation said in a statement on Sunday evening: “After the explosion that occurred on Istiklal Street, the Federation’s Board of Directors postponed a match in the Bishiktas, and Frabport Taf Antalia Sport, which was scheduled to be held in Vodafone Park at 8:00 pm tonight.
”
The fans were already entering the stadium the moment the explosion occurred, and the players of both teams were inside the Vodafone Stadium. After publishing the local federation statement, the organizers asked everyone to leave the place.
6 people were killed, while 82 others were injured as a result of the terrorist explosion that occurred on Sunday and the famous shopping street in Istanbul.
