FIFA President Gianni Infantino highlighted that security will be extremely strict at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which is projected to draw over two million visitors.
Infantino remarked during a news conference following the opening of a soccer stadium in San Jose, Costa Rica, that all fans from all over the world are invited to rejoice and attend the matches.
If somebody came to start a brawl or anything like that, they would definitely not be welcome, and we would all be extremely rigorous since everyone’s safety is the most essential issue, he said.

Infantino considered security to be the most essential problem since we will have people from all nations in the same city, not only fans from two countries facing one other one day, but everyone will be there all the time.
Of course, preparation is difficult. It is not simple; there are several aspects to consider in terms of security, lodging, transportation, and all other feasible and imaginable attempts to make it a party for everybody, he continued.
Infantino went on to say that the World Cup in Qatar would be like a youngster visiting Disneyland for the first time to have fun and watch games; it will be a one-of-a-kind experience for football fans.
