International Monetary Fund: The confrontation between the United States and China will lead to a new cold war

The Director General of the International Monetary Fund Crystalina Georgiva stated that the confrontation between the United States and China divides the world into conflicting blocs, which brings us back to a new round of the Cold War.
She said: “I am concerned about the deep fragmentation of the global economy, which can leave us in a poorest and most insecure world. I lived the first cold war, and I think the second is an irresponsible idea.

Georgiviva indicated that if the confrontation escalates, the global economy will shrink by 1. 5% or more than 1. 4 trillion dollars on an annual basis.
Earlier, “Global Times” wrote that the United States is seeking to benefit from the Ukrainian crisis in all respects, especially by weakening European countries.
According to the Senator Alexei Puskov, the United States intends to harm the economy of the European Union for political control of Brussels.

Former Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte expressed his confidence that the strategic interests of the European Union should not be reduced for the United States.
