Hadi Al-Amiri calls for stopping the use of weapons in Iraq

Hadi al-Amiri, the chairman of the Al-Fateh Alliance, has urged on all sides to refrain from using guns in the Iraqi conflicts.
In a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Al-Amiri stated, “We ask for calm, and I plead to my sons from all sides to refrain from using guns, since weapons are not a solution, and there is no solution between brothers except through conversation and understanding.”

For his part, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi praised the demand to halt violence issued by the Sadrist movement’s leader, Muqtada Al-Sadr, and the chairman of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri.
In a response to him, Al-Kazemi wrote, “I cherish His Eminence Sayyid Muqtada Al-appeal Sadr’s to stop the bloodshed, as I respect Hajj Hadi Al-call, Amiri’s and all those who contributed to the quiet and averting additional violence.”

He went on to say, “I urge on everyone to take on the national responsibility of safeguarding Iraqi blood.”

Hadi Al-Amiri demands an end to the use of weapons in Iraq.
