During the meeting, Al -Mulla stressed the need to accelerate the projects of energy transformation, reduce carbon emissions and green hydrogen production, and to rely on modern technology and technology in the field of mining to preserve the environment, especially since Australia has leading experiences and has advanced experiences and technologies in this vital field, noting that There are promising opportunities in Egypt in the field of mining after the legislative reforms that have been made, and it has become an attractive sector of investment, pointing out that there are already Australian mining companies operating in Egypt, and we look forward to that there is similar cooperation with Australia in the production of green hydrogen in Egypt.

For his part, the Australian Minister of Environment said that Egypt provides a great model in hosting the climate summit that will come out with positive results in the areas of energy transformation and reducing emissions, noting that there are great efforts in Australia to achieve zero emissions in the oil and gas industry by 2050, stressing the need to rely on renewable energy While continuing to rely on gas in the energy transformation, pointing out that green hydrogen production projects and reducing emissions will lead to reliance on gas for a larger period, and added that Australia is ranked second in the liquefied gas industry and seeks to achieve the same center in the production of hydrogen, and that the mining industry is advanced In Australia and there are leading companies in this field and from them work in Egypt.
