The explosion of Istiklal Street in the Taksim area in central Istanbul in Turkey shook on Sunday evening, while the city’s ruler confirmed the death and injury of the accident.
Istanbul governor, Ali Yerlikaya, tweeted that an explosion occurred on Istiklal Street in Bioglu Square at 4:20 pm local time.
“Police, health, firefighting, disaster and emergency management teams were sent to the scene,” Yerlikaya said, adding that there are injuries (any deaths) and injuries.
“The developments will be shared with the public,” he said.
Meanwhile, Anatolia News Agency tweeted that there were “injuries after an explosion on Istiklal Street in Istanbul, and the reason is not yet clear. ”
After the explosion, a large number of emergency services spread at the scene in the pedestrian area in the city. Television footage showed some people fleeing from the scene.
The area is cordoned off by the security services..
